About Liana

Liana is a Latinx tarot reader, folk herbalist, educator and artist currently based in Tucson, AZ.

Liana's offerings are focused on bringing earth-based wisdom and soul-empowering knowledge to folks far and wide. They take an eclectic, mindfulness-based and trauma-informed approach to their work and do this through tarot reading, ritual art, workshops and handmade remedies.

Liana has been studying and reading tarot for over 12 years and started teaching tarot 7 years ago. Developing this deep relationship with the cards completely transformed Liana's outlook on life. Tarot helped heal many traumas and re-write self-damaging narratives and social conditioning. It has also helped develop and build trust in Liana's own intuition, a priceless gift in our modern internet-run world. Often, reading tarot feels like coming home, and it is an honor to facilitate that process for others.

In 2012 Liana completed a 200hr hatha yoga training at Yandara Yoga Institute and in 2016, Liana completed the Community Folk Herbalist program at Wild Ginger Herbal Center, formerly known as Centro Ashe in MD.

They are also a founding member of the Heart and Soil Collective based in Baltimore, MD.

Liana is currently entering the next phase of education & evolution, beginning the path to a Master's of Science in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Phoenix, AZ come January 2020.

In their spare time Liana enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking or walking with their dog Juliette and spending time with friends/family.
